Is Milk Allergy hereditary?
It is a resounding yes or no if milk allergy is hereditary. If both genes from the parents are considered weak and observed as non-lactose productive, then it is believed that the child will also develop allergies to milk.
However, if one of the two genes from the parents can support and supplement the lactose needs of the child then he or she will most likely not develop allergies to milk.
